Agreed! I’ve always been into poetry (since a very young age), but nowadays that’s the only place I find myself. If I do anything philosophical, it is just an echo from the past. Thanks for your comments!
Maybe next time you write something about art! I'm also interested in how these ideas would apply to homiletics. It seems that context tends to get treated as lecture hour by Protestants. I've honestly not heard too many great homilies from Orthodox priests (a couple, but not many). The best come from St Chrysostom and similar--but I would like to see someone writing about homiletics as an art to help priests improve their ability to speak to the heart.
This is why analytic philosophers need to read more poetry 😭😭 (I’m an analytic philosopher and I need to read more poetry)
